We collect only what's needed to run Sonora and process your reservation.

Personal Information

• Name and email address (for your reservation and waitlist updates)

• Shipping details (collected only before your device ships)

• Account preferences, if you create an account

Device & Usage Data

• Voice commands are processed on-device and are not stored or transmitted, unless you explicitly enable a cloud feature

• Device settings and preferences you configure

• Basic diagnostic data (crash reports, performance) to keep Sonora reliable

2. How we use your information

We use your data to:

• Process your reservation and keep you updated on shipping

• Operate and improve the Sonora device and app

• Respond to support requests

• Communicate important updates about your order

• Ensure security and prevent misuse

3. On-device processing

Sonora is built to keep your voice at home. Wake-word detection and most commands are processed locally, on the device. Voice recordings are not stored after a command is processed unless you explicitly opt into a feature that requires it. You can mute the microphones at any time with the physical mute button on top of the device — this disables the mics at a hardware level.

4. Data sharing

We don't sell your personal data. We share limited information only with:

• Payment processors, to handle your reservation

• Shipping partners, to deliver your device

• Service providers who help us operate Sonora, under confidentiality agreements

5. Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data

• Ask us to delete your data

• Cancel your reservation at any time before shipping

• Opt out of marketing emails while staying on the waitlist
